Only You Get To Decide What Freedom Looks Like For You

Next time you start doubting yourself and everything you’re capable of, take a second to think. Are these negative thoughts about yourself actually yours? Or the voice of your detractors ? More importantly, when did you start believing these words?

”It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” - Galatians 5:1.

To be spiritually aligned with Christ we must be spiritually aligned with freedom. To be aligned with freedom, we must believe that we are worthy of being free.

We’re all here today because some ancestor down the line was brave.

Whether running from slavery, moving during The Great Migration, exercising creativity during the Harlem Renaissance, or facing police during the Civil Rights Movement, these ancestors had something in common. They all chose freedom.

Like our ancestors, we have a responsibility to choose freedom by any means necessary.

Practicing freedom means refusing to be defined by the oppressor or any other negative force. They can say the meanest, nastiest thing, but it only becomes true if you believe it.

Who is always bringing you down or putting doubt in your mind?

Next time someone does this, look them dead in the eye and say, “If talking bad about me makes you feel good, you can have it. But I know who I am and where I’m going.”

If you deeply believe that you’re free and are deserving of everything you are manifesting, NOTHING haters do or say can change that.
