How To Use Cord Cutting To Remain Aligned With Spirit
Protecting our energy is how we protect our spirit. Everyone we encounter carries their own energy, and some of this energy sticks to us afterwards. This stickiness is an energetic cord tie, and it’s important to know how to cut it. Cutting these cords is how we stay aligned with Spirit.
Everyone we encounter carries their own energy, some of which stays with us even after the interaction is over. It’s like an energetic cord tying us together.
Whether it’s good or bad, carrying other people’s excess energy can weigh us down or cloud our intuition. Our intuition is how we receive messages from Spirit.
Energetic cords can also be negative or codependent attachments to our own addictions, fears, or traumas. This is why cutting energetic cords is key.
Once a week take a moment to sit, eyes closed, and take deep breaths as you do an energetic body scan. Pay attention to where you feel energetic blocks. This is likely where energetic cords are tethered to you.
Remaining emotionally neutral, see if you can identify who or what each cord is tied to. Make snipping or slicing motions with your fingers as you visualize yourself cutting the energetic cords you no longer wish to be tied to.
Cord cutting is like weeding a garden. It’s important for our spiritual hygiene to clear out any energetic cords that feel toxic or take up unnecessary space in our energetic garden.
Protecting our energy is how we protect our spirit. Protecting our spirit is how we protect our relationship with Spirit, while conducting spiritual warfare against anti-Blackness.
