Angie Stone Taught Us Faith Is Found In God’s Wings
God’s wings are infinite. Each of us exists within His divine wingspan. Which is why we will succeed whenever we devote ourselves to God. God wants us to soar.
“I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.” – Exodus 19:4.
Our hearts were all heavy when we heard of Angie Stone’s passing. We knew we’d lost an angel. Literally.
Stone’s wingspan was powerfully wide. Her faith journey began when she was just 11 years old, with Stone making God the center of all she did.
Her unshakeable faith in God both humbled and protected her as she began to rise in the music industry, becoming the queen of neo soul.
In an interview with Holy Culture Radio, Stone reflected that one of the biggest things faith continued to teach her was that we’re imperfect humans but through God anything is possible.
This is why whenever faced with life’s numerous tests Stone chose to look within, finding strength and courage within God’s wings.
Right before her passing, Stone had attended the College for Ministry. Just like God had drawn her closer into His wings, she wanted to be a metaphoric wing to share God’s message of divine love with others.
What draws you closer to God? We all exist on God’s wingspan Anytime our faith falters we can turn to God and ask to be drawn closer.
God will always be our wings. God wants us to soar.
