Why Writing In Your Journal Brings You Closer To God

Some of us have no problem speaking our prayers out loud, and some of us prefer pray silently.

Another way to “speak” our prayers is to write them.

Journaling is a powerful way to pause, hear our inner thoughts, and be with God.

It can sharpen our intuition and nurture our spiritual growth. It has even been shown to improve mental health

Treat journaling like the spiritual ritual it is. In a comfortable and environment with no distractions, light a candle, and free write for 20 minutes. There’s no wrong way to journal, but journaling styles can better support connection with Spirit.

Types of journals:

A bible journal is dedicated to reflecting on Bible scriptures and one's spiritual growth. A dream tracking journal can help us find links between our sleeping and waking lives, honoring our sacred intuition.

A gratitude journal reminds us of everything we’re thankful for, helping us keep the faith during hard times.

Journaling  is an invitation to explore our deepest thoughts, feelings, and spiritual awakenings without judgment.
