Doubting Your Divine Favor? 4 Timely Reminders To Help Reassure You
“Twice emotional stability. Of sound body and tranquility. I deserve it all.”
We deserve a sound mind, body, and spirit. Living in an anti-Black world tries to convince us otherwise, but we can refuse. Things as simple as taking a nap, daydreaming, or going for a mind-clearing walk are simple actions we can take each day to resist the system that tries to disrupt our peace.
“Every reason why my ancestors sent me.”
Our ancestors laid the foundation. We must keep going, adding layers of necessary bricks on the liberation path. They chose us to carry out this divine mission and gave us ancestral knowledge to do what needs to be done.
“A close relationship with God Whisper to me every time I close my eyes. He say, "You deserve it all.”
These words remind us that God is always present in our struggles. His love is a constant reminder that we're supported, protected, and deserve all the things we've systemically been denied.
“It's innate to mind my business.”
Sometimes, minding our business when it comes to the anti-Black charades surrounding us is preservation. Instead, let's focus on what we have to do for the betterment of our people.
We’ve always been deserving of liberation despite what anyone says. We can and will get there with God’s support and our ancestors’ knowledge. Amen. Aṣẹ.
