Did You Hear That Sound? It Was Likely Spirit

“Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” – Revelation 2:29. 

Many of us grew up hearing the old wives’ tale that if our ears were ringing it meant someone was talking about us. But what if the ringing was actually Spirit trying to tell us something? 

In the Bible, it’s said that Spirit often appeared to or communicated with disciples through sound. 

Medically known as tinnitus, ear ringing has inspired many spiritual myths worldwide. So, what does it mean when we hear ringing in our ears? Some spiritualists believe ear ringing is Spirit, or our spirit guides, telling us it’s time we listen to the divine communication we’re receiving, seek guidance, or become more aware of our spiritual surroundings.

The ringing can also be confirmation that the thing we’ve been thinking of, manifesting, or stressing over, is about to come true.

Regardless if we believe that ringing in the ears is the Spirit speaking to us or a medical condition to get checked out, the reality is that the Divine will always find a way to communicate with us.
